PIECES-OF-THE-PUZZLE — build-your-own-standard for mtg

DESCRIPTION

This is a description of a Build-Your-Own Magic: The Gathering format aiming to replicate old standard formats. It consists of 1 Core Set (between 6th Edition and 10th Edition) and 2 Blocks (between Ice Age Block and Time Spiral Block), chosen and announced to players by tournament organizers (or equivalent).

DECK CONSTRUCTION

The current Legacy banlist is in effect. The latest version of the Comprehensive Rules is to be used. Decks are 60 cards at minimum, with no upper limit. Sideboards are exactly 15 cards.

BLOCKS

Notes: Ice Age Block includes Coldsnap, but not Homelands. Time Spiral Block includes only cards from the main set and does not include Timeshifted cards.
